I believe what I have to bring to this distinguished committee is that we as a small business were probably one of the first that brought digital video recording to the government sector.
Some of our client base includes the U.S. Capitol; the U.S. Department of Justice; Federal Bureau of Prisons; U.S. Department of State, where we have deployed our digital video recorders throughout the country, where they can view all the cameras throughout the country in D.C. And we have recently contracted with Department of Homeland Security to secure the northern and southern borders of the United States.
I'd like to read a statement that Under Secretary McQueary made before the U.S. House of Representatives not so long ago. "The most important mission for the Science and Technology Directorate is to develop and deploy cutting-edge technologies and new capabilities, so that the dedicated men and women who serve to protect and secure our homeland perform their jobs more effectively and efficiently."
I believe from a small business perspective, because we have been able to deploy technology on a rather quick basis, that we can continue to do that from the small business sector. I'm also extremely proud to be part of Homeland Security's Science and Technology Committee, and look forward in determining ways that we can secure our homeland.
